Events at Croxteth Hall and Country Park

Over 300,000 people visited Croxteth Hall and Country Park in the last couple of years and we look forward to another great year, as we enter 2008 and Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture.

Alice in Wonderland outdoor theatreAs in recent years, we continue to bring all our main events in all the city parks free of charge encouraging greater use of parks and accessibility for all. Our events will offer something for everyone.

This year, in Liverpool's Capital of Culture year, we have added open-air theatre to our summer event programme with 'Peter Pan', 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table' all visiting the park. Our 'Beatles Murder Mystery Night' should be an intriguing evening!

A young Shetland lamb on Croxteth Home FarmThe World Firefighter Games will bring worldwide recognition, with further international links through screenings of 'Liverpool's Cunard Yanks' and 'Croxteth Hall, the French Connection'.

Annual crowd favourites such as Bark in the Park, Alt Valley Arts and Culture Showcase and Croxteth Country Fair continue to be free entrance events in 2008.

We hope the programme offers something for everyone, whether you are 2 or 102! Please enjoy your visit. The new 2008 Events brochure (PDF [864.2Kb] opens in new window) is available to download, or pick up at the park very soon. Keep checking back for additional information.
